OK, you have a code PO341 which means their is a problem with the signal the ECU is receiving from the cam sensor. It does not necessarily mean the sensor is bad. It can be one of these things.\015\012
\015\0121. Cam sensor wiring routed too close to spark plug wiring (causing interference)\015\0122. Poor wiring connection at cam sensor\015\0123. Poor wiring connection at PCM\015\0124. Bad cam sensor\015\0125. Damaged reluctor wheel\015\012You replaced the cam sensor and the problem is still there so we can assume that a defective cam sensor was not the problem. Do this.\015\012
\015\0121. Check that the wiring isn't routed too close to any secondary ignition components (coil, spark plug wires, etc.)\015\0122. Visually inspect the wiring at the sensor for any burn marks, discoloration indicative of melting or chafing\015\0123. Visually inspect the reluctor wheel through the cam sensor port (if possible) for any missing teeth or any damage\015\0124. If reluctor isn't visible from outside the engine, visual test can only be done by removing cam shaft or intake manifold (depending on engine design)
Hi I have the same problem with an 02 CRV and I would appreciate if you could tell me how you solved your problem as I have replaced 2 camshaft sensors and it still cuts out .Regards Pat
