Having problems with your 2002 Hyundai Accent ?
WHEN I START THE CAR AND ACCELERATE AUTOMATICALLY THE CAR GOES OFF I HAVE DONE SCANING OF CaR THEY TOLD 2.NOS. OF PART TO REPLACE 1.TORQUE CONVERTER SWITCH 2.INTAKE AIR TEMPERATURE SENSOR . I WANT TO KNOW WHAT ARE THIS PART WHERE THEY FIT
Hi, this two sensor are really important,The\015\012 Torque Converter Clutch, (TCC) or swithc is what actually causes the TCC\015\012 to engage and disengage. When the TCC switch receives a signal from \015\012the ECM, it opens a passage in the valve body and hydraulic fluid \015\012applies the TCC. When the ECM signal stops, the solenoid closes the \015\012valve and pressure is vented causing the TCC to disengage. If the TCC \015\012fails to disengage when the vehicle comes to a stop, the engine will \015\012stall. The Air intake temp is for the engine performance, it helps to control fuel flow, and air flow. and about the location of the torque converter it should be on the transmission but dont know exactly where and the intake air it should be on the trottle body or on the intake maniful but same thing don\302\264t know exactly where, i wish i can help you to locate them but i don\302\264t usually work on hyundai (no offence), but for best result go to a local parts sotre and buy a Haynes repair manual for your car i should not cost you more than 20 dollars, hope this helps you.
