Having problems with your 2002 Hyundai Santa Fe ?

I have a Top End Tappoing I asume its in the Valves.its a 2002 Santa Fe V6 OHC.Its not that noticeable with Hood Shut and From Inside the Vehicle .My Friend has a 2007 Tucson and his has a Light Tapping as well. Is this a Problem i need to address? Or if it does'nt get Louder should i not be Concerned?

Not enough oil getting to the hydraulic tappets is highly likely - check the oil, if it is black and dirty change it - change the oil filter too / if its still tapping then the only other things it could be are (in order of expense AND probability) :\015\012
\015\012Partially clogged fuel pick up pipe (in the oil sump)\015\012or Worn Oil Pump.\015\012
\015\012Hope an oil and filter change does the trick, otherwise you'll need to take off the sump and clean/replace the oil pick up pipe (the pipe is more likely to clog if you do lots of short trips, or drive in a dusty or very hot environment - lots of hill climbing and towing also make the oil burn and stick to the pick up pipe due to the extra heat the engine makes when given hard work) - fingers crossed this fixes the problem and you don;t have a worn oil pump - but even an oil pump isn't mega-expensive.
