Having problems with your 2002 Isuzu Axiom ?

Transmission fluid leak

\015 I have a 1995 Mitsubishi Galant. I just had the transmission replaced a couple weeks ago. And last week i started noticing a transmission fluid leak. I cant see it coming from anywhere on top, but it looks like its coming from somewhere under the transmission. Any ideas on where it could be coming from?\015 Posted / edited by AnonymousUser on : 06-04-2020

The transmission pan, try tightning the screws. Be carefull not to overtighten nor brake the screws! If your handy you should take it off and replace the filter, pan gasket and oil. I can let you know how to do it if you decide so. Or like I mention just tight the screws and also check the fluid level. Check while cold and then when hot.
Most likely point of leakage is where dipstick tube is inserted into trans. there is an "O" ring that can be replaced. If that is the source of leakage, remove tube and replace "O" ring. Dpistick tube must be secured so it doesn't move around once installed. This does sound like a warrantee issue and would take installer very little time to correct. Good Luck
