Having problems with your 2002 Isuzu Axiom ?
The automatic transmision is slipping when going into fist gear. Also the check trans lite has just appeared.Could this be an expensive fix?
Answers :
The first thing I would do is check the fluid level. If the fluid is low, it will cause the transmission to slip. If you find that it is low, you need to find out why and fix it. It may be something as simple as tightening a clamp on a transmission cooler hose.

\012If the fluid is not low, then it will probably require a transmission overhaul to fix it.
