Answers :

IF THE CAR HAS BEEN SUBJECTED TO A LARGE SHOCK - IT MAY BE THAT THE INERTIA SWITCH HAS ACTIVATED. THIS IS FOUND IN THE PASSENGER FOOTWELL ON A RHD CAR. REACH YOUR FINGER THROUGH AND TRY TO RESET IT.

Is the car fitted with a collision battery-disconnect-switch? If so, it needs to be reset or replaced. I have no idea where it might be located, but probably near the battery itself.
