Having problems with your 2002 Jeep Grand Cherokee ?

My 2002 Grand Cherokee Laredo makes a high pitched noise that appears to come from the front end. It gets louder and more pronounced as you accellerate. It is similar to the noise you used to get with old speedometer cables. I am fairly certain it is not a wheel bearing.

Answers :

Small things first.Check your belt and also the pre-tensioner.Try turnind the air-con off and try it.These things can squeal their head off if it's the problem.Check these things 1st just to elimenate them from the process. It's very likely a belt problem with the symptoms you gave.Hope this helps.
