Having problems with your 2002 Kia Rio ?

My 2002 Kia rio rx 5 stalls. It usually happens when sitting at a stop lIght and go to accelerate. Recntly replaced transmission. Apparently I need a new sensor of some kind, but I'm not really sure which? Just got the car back today, and today is also the first time my car has ever stalled in reverse!!! Any help????

Answers :

Kia rios have very poor sensors installed on them, problems could range from many issues or combination of. Mass air flow not giving computer proper inputs, intake temp sensor not inputing correct reading to ecm ( electronic control module) aka computer. air leaks into intake manifold giving false signals to computer, weak coil packs , throttle position sensor degraded, and the list goes on, best thing to do , is to shed this little beast from the herd. I have one of these pieces of ****, and I am still fighting this stallling issue. Run away and Run fast, before you are completely broke trying to fix this thing, Just my opinion.
Is that car with automatic gearbox? if yes than change automatick gearbox oil and new filter.
