Having problems with your 2002 Land Rover Freelander ?

My y reg freelander has a droning noise from back of car ,thought noise was berring .jackt up 1 back wheel tried to turn but seems 2 be still in gear

I had this prob on my freelander it was the bearings on the prop shaft either side of the vcu
\015\012nice easy job but remember to mark position of bearings so the new ones go back on in exactly the same position
\015\012the freelander is a permanent four wheel drive so to spin the wheels you have to raise all four wheels off the ground together
Possible tyre noise, Have tyres been changed from left to right lately. Each tread section wears at an angle and changing direction of rotation will create noise. Just a thought as i had this problem with a vauxhall.
