WHITE MILKY SOLUTION IN OIL RESEVOIR - 2002 Mitsubishi Lancer

Answers :

I assume it is in your engine oil, milky oil means moisture in the oil, oil and water make mayonaise, it can get there because an engine is running too cool, like with no thermostat, or broken, stuck open, or lots of short trips where it doen't get warmed up enough to evaporate the condensation that naturally occurs as an engine cools. Or it could be a head gasket, or crack in a casting either block or head, so check the simple things first. If it is overheating and loosing coolant, it points directly to internal engine problems and should be carefully checked before a teardown, as diagnosis is usually niine tenths of the repair. I'm Hoping it's a simple solution for you today!
