Having problems with your 2002 Nissan Altima ?

I have a 2002 nissan altima, 4 cyl. with 156,000 miles. It has had regular maintenance since purchase. I currently need an oil change and tune-up. I called a Nissan dealer and they told me I need a major service for $830.00. Can this be true?

Answers :

No. It's never a good idea to take your car to the dealer unless is a problem that falls under an electrical or physical malfunction that would be still under warranty. A standard oil change and tune up on a well maintained vehicle shouldn't run you over $100-$150 at most.
