Having problems with your 2002 Oldsmobile Alero ?

Overheating and antifreeze in oil

\015 At stops it chugs and wants to die. when I got the car the antifreeze was chunky or slushy. Some days it ran right and the heat was fine but some days it didn;t. It got hot and the light came on 3 times and didn't pull over right away. Now there is no heat and it goes to hot and stays there.\015 Posted / edited by AnonymousUser on : 09-12-2019

Answers :

Hi, the antifreeze in the oil says head gasket has gone, try doin a compression test to confirm it.
The cylinder head gaskets are leaking, u will need them replaced, the heads checked for true and the oil pan flushed to get the water/coolant out, make sure u figure out why it overheated before any repair begins or the same thing will happen again.
