Having problems with your 2002 Toyota 4Runner ?

How do you bleed coolant system on a 2002 4runner v6 after changing thermostat? system is air locked and thermostat will not open.

There are very few cars these days that need bleeding or even have a bleeder. And most of those are rear or mid engine vehicles. Gravity will fill most of the system, then when you get the engine hot, the thermostat must open, because it is lower than the reservoir. The rest of the air will then bleed out and be replaced by water when it cools.
If the thermostat is not opening, it is probably because it is defective or put in backwards. You have to put the heat pellet towards the engine.
Also drive front end up on ramps that will give you the highest point for you air to escape
