Having problems with your 2002 Toyota Corolla ?

I have a 2004 Toyota Corolla RUNX GLI 1.6l engine 29,000 miles. My driver side back window sticks in the open position when it is fully open, but the other windows work fine from the drivers panel and so does the door lock and the window lock button. After about 12 hours of staying down i can get it up. How can this be fixed and can i find the parts online?

Answers :

Hello, take your door trim off and take a good look at the wiring which goes to your electric motor, see if it has been rubbing on any parts, unplug and plug in any connections and see if there is dirt/dust in the plugs, it sound like a poor contact in your wiring. Do not go buying anything until you have pin pointed the problem. If you or a friend is handy with electrics you can also test the motor by using a 12V battery straight onto the motor, bypassing all switches and wiring to see if the motor is ok or not. Start by removing the door trim and leave it off until fixed.
