Having problems with your 2002 Volkswagen Jetta TDI ?

Hi, I just purchased a VW Polo 1.6 Classic 2004 Model , recently my car started jerking. We replaced the fuel pump, and sparkplugs which seemed to help a bit. but it still jerks when travelling to higher speeds. Or even when idling. What could the problem be
