Having problems with your 2002 Volkswagen Jetta TDI ?

It's an automatic and today it wasn't shifting like normal.

Unfortunately there isnt a dipstick on these for some odd reason it really made me mad when i looked under the hood of mine and saw that but u will have to completely change the fluid and i would suggest taking it to a shop.....mine was shifting eratically and i also have the tiptronic which is the automatic and manual transmission and i changed the fluid and it runs like a beauty.....you better take it soon or else u will be paying 6 grand for a new tranny from VW.......hope this helped
First, and easiest, is to check your transmission fluid level and make sure there is the right level of fluid as seen on the dipstick.
\015\012Low levels of automatic transmission fluid will cause erratic shifting.
