Having problems with your 2002 Volkswagen Passat ?

Trying to remove driver's seat. How do I do it?

The seat is held into the floor by four bolts, two at the front and two at the back, you need to slide the seat right back all the way so you can see the 2 front bolts their is one either side and they are in the metal runner and then the same with the back slide it forward as far as you can and you should see the two back bolts.

if they just turn without undoing then you need to get some one else to help you and go under the car and hold a spanner on the nut under neath it should be a fixed nut and should undo from inside the car.

if their are any electrics then they are held in to a block connector just under the seat unclip this and you should be ok.

their may be caps on top of the bolts so if you cant see them then look for caps the bolts should be far forward in either side of the runner so it should be right at the front.
