Having problems with your 2003 Chevrolet Silverado 2500HD ?

After driving the interstate and pull to off ramp truck loses power on take off after stopping, after a few seconds truck power is restored back to normal, has happened 3 times

\015 My truck is a 05 chevy 2500hd durmax, This issue has only occurred after driving about 40 miles of interstate at 70 to eighty miles per hour. Once off interstate and coming to stop, the truck only has enough power to make 10 to 15 miles per hour tops with my foot to the floor. The truck smokes excessively during this loss of power, but after 10 to 15 seconds power is restored and all is back to normal. What could be happening?\015 Posted / edited by AnonymousUser on : 14-01-2019

Sometimes the problem is so simple you dont think of it. Check the transmission fluid level. If it is good then drop the transmission pan to see if the transmission filter did not drop off or the filter may be plugged. When was the last time you did a transmission flush? if not do that change the fluid and transmission filter this should be done every 50,000 KM
It sound`s like the excess fuel solinoid is sticking, take it out and give it a good clean...
