Having problems with your 2003 Chevrolet TrailBlazer ?

I have a 2003 Chevy Trailblazer. The brake lights work sometimes and not other times. I have changed the bulbs and the "panel" (the part that all of the bulbs plug into) on each side. When we start the car, we check the brake lights and if they are not working, we tap on the brake light cover and they come on. I have checked the ground wire for the lights and it is solid and not corroded. What does this mean and how can it be fixed?

Answers :

Sounds like a loose terminal inside the harness connector, disconnect harness connector and check to be sure all female terminals fit tightly to male counterparts.
