Broken Motor Mount or Motor Mount Bolt

\015 I recently noticed a grinding noise when I turn my wheel to the left and also when I come to a complete stop. I looked under the hood and noticed that my Engine is moving more then what it should. I'm not sure if this is a Broken Motor Mount or even a bolt. I'm assuming it is from other people and similar problems. Can anyone tell me how i could diagnose my problem?\015 Posted / edited by AnonymousUser on : 19-10-2020

Answers :

To check for a bad motor mount u need 2 people for this. Have the car running put it into gear with your foot pressed firmly on the brake u don't want to run your buddy over. Give it some gas in the motor is jumping around alot like 6 inches in any direction you have a broken motor mount. Which way the engine jumps will let u know which one is bad. Try this test in reverse gear to.
