Starter does not crank , when trying to start

There are four major items on the starting system that can wear out over time,

start motor brushes and magnetic wire coating on the motor
(under 10 year life span)
Since the shop labor hour can be as high as $140+ per hour.
Parts to rebuild starter is hard to find.
I recommend you to clean all connections with CRC electrical motor clear.

(check the battery label. "48" = 48 month of pro-rated warranty.)
A weak battery will fail on 95F+ day.
Check the last two digits on the battery and see is it getting close to the end of the warranty period.


Starter relay is the most likely cause of the no start.

Here is the cross reference for this relay.
It may carry one of more OEM part number stamp on the plastic body of this relay.
This relay is locate right next to the fuse panel.

Please take your time to clean all contact and re-seat the relay.
If you do not hear a click (contact) sound that you will need to replace it

Check the fuseable link inline with the solenoid wire. It is a wire spliced in with very fine hair like strands which will short out just like a fuse if overloaded. That link is spliced in with the solenoid wire a few inches from the solenoid connection. If continuity is good there the electrical ignition switch is at fault then
