Any chipped key system can be bypassed. IF you have one chipped key. The only thing to get bypassed will be the electronics. The physical locks and ignition will still require a key to start.
Here's what you do.
First get two or three keys cut. (Plain) ensure they all turn the locks and ignition.
second remove the plastic surrounding the steering wheel. There will be a plastic ring around the ignition switch with wires coming from it. Usually one small screw securing it. Remove it from the switch have it so it will swing under the dash.
Next cut the key portion off the chipped key. (You dont want to leave the means to actually start the car) with a hacksaw or other tool.
tape or ziptie the remaining chipped head in the center of this ring. Ensure it can't fall out. Securely fasten it under dash as far as wires will allow so it wont get caught in anything.
reinstall all plastics removed and now it will start with any properly cut key. This will also permit you to install a remote car starter without a bypass kit!!
good luck.
Any locksmith can make a new key, yes its expensive.
