Having problems with your 2003 Ford Explorer ?

Brakes lights won't work except the top

\015 I have checked the fuses, bulbs, so I know it can't be those but I'm inexperienced with wiring and don't know where the brake switch is or anything. Need details because I'm car illiterate :|I'm not sure who to turn to to get electrical done either without being priced or going to someone who can't help me and still charges me for the work.\015 Posted / edited by AnonymousUser on : 22-04-2019

Answers :

How about this.your brake light switch is probably bad. It's located under the dash in back of the brake pedel. If your inexperienced,go to your mechanic it is something they can do and it wont cost a lot.Ask around you can find a good shop who is recomended by word of mouth,or go to the dealer even they SHOULD not be too expensive, besides they know what they are doing and they don't have to guess whats wrong or how to fix your car.
