Having problems with your 2003 Ford F250 Super Duty Crew Cab ?

When I hook up my horse trailer to my 2003 Ford Excursion, it blows the fuse for the running lights. The blinkers and brake lights work, but that is all. If I change the blown fuse, it will only blow again. I had the plug changed because it appeared loose and that did not seem to fix the problem. When the place put a 25 amp fuse in place of the 20 amp, it seemed to be fine. Is it safe to use the 25 amp. or could it be a grounding issue with the trailer. The horse trailer is a 2006 Sundowner.
