Ford f250 2003 super duty diesel 6L - loss of power and idle fluctuates

\015 Loss of power and idle fluctuates at idle when warming up and when warm. Notice power loss when acelerating. Idle fluctuates from up and down like an electical load is put on the moter. Idle will stay low for about 10 seconds (like there is a load on the moter) then go back up (like the load has been lifted) for 30 sec or so.. these time interval are inconsistent.\015\012Any ideas?\015 Posted / edited by AnonymousUser on : 23-04-2018

Icp sensor, definitly. you can get to it but you have to go from the bottom. remove the trans filler tube, and lower the the trans slightly, then you can remove the turbo heat shield and get to the sensor, you will need a 1 1/16" 12 point crows foot socket for the sensor its self.
ICP Sensor... The Injection Control Pressure Sensor... part is about $100... very hard to find and get to... located on the back side of motor under the Turbo almost impossible to get to... I work on my stuff all the time and I took it in to be fixed by FORD about $350 I think I spent total. My code reader was flashing code #P2285 ICP Sensor... Hope this fixes yours, it did mine.
