Having problems with your 2003 Honda Pilot ?
Gas leak on feed line at the connection. Tried replacing the fuel line clip (blue/ green) but cannot get the two fuel; lines appart.
Hi, I'm assuming you are talking about the connection to the fuel rail assembly. First release any residual fuel pressure by using a wrench on the fuel pulsation damper (A). Place a rag over the damper (B) when relieving residual fuel pressure. Retighten the nut and then squeeze the clips together on the quick disconnect fitting to separate the fuel lines. Replace the o-rings to repair the leak and reconnect the lines. Please let me know if you have any questions, and thanks for using FixYa.
Try pushing the two lines together as you compress the tabs on the plastic insert. This will release the pressure on the latches and allow the lines to separate.May also try twisting the two lines to help release orings.most likely the leak is a flat oring.Good luck!
