\015\012I know you just had a new transmission put in but my first suggestion would be to check the level of transmission fluid. However this transmission is "sealed" and must be checked from a little plug on the back of the transmission. If you pull it and fluid comes out then it is full. There is a transmission cooler on your truck and this should keep it cool if your level is full. The transmission fluid in your truck is recommended to use a synthetic fluid so perhaps inquire to the person who installed your transmission and make sure they used this. Not using a friction additive in the transmission fluid can and will make the plates overheat. You could have an issue with the sensor as well but I would suggest that you take the truck back to the person who installed the transmission right away and let them addresses it. You should have a 3 year warranty on it.\015\012
