Lost my key to my jaguar 2003 x-type, where can i get a new one
\015 The dealership wants to charge me about $400 for a new key and to program it. does anyone know where i can get a another key cheaper and where i can get it programmed. i live in santa monica, california.\015

The only place that will have the sort of equipment to cut you a new key (the key has to be cut according to the vin number of the car), is going to be the dealership. also the computer equipment needed to program the new key is most likely only avaliable at the dealer.
