Having problems with your 2003 Jeep Grand Cherokee ?

I have replace the relay switch for the fan 3 times, As long as the vehicle is moving the motor stays cool but as soon as the vehicle idles for more then 5 minutes it starts to overheat and fast! There is a squealing noise coming from the motor when the temp gage gets to 200* what could this be?

How does this make sense? You are standing in front of your vehicle and hear a noise...and you ask someone very far away what the noise is? Listen carefully and use the sound to locate the source of the noise. If necessary, remove the serpentine belt and turn each pulley till you find one that feels "wrong" either binding or loose. Then, change it. If you are blowing the fan relay, chances are that the fan motor is drawing too much amperage and is binding when it gets hot...that will cause the relay to fail.
