Shogun di-d 3.2 overheating when towing

\015 Our shogun runs fine does not use any water, the system does not over pressurize, we can to an empty trailer ok , but as soon as you put any weight on the trailer and hit a hill, the temp gauge goes up to the red, so we put the heater on full and temp lowers to normal\015 Posted / edited by AnonymousUser on : 25-01-2021

Answers :

This is not necessarily a problem with your truck. The weather this summer with the higher heat and humidity can easily push a cooling system beyond its capacity, so unless this has been going on for a long time, or persists into the cool fall weather, I wouldn't be too concerned. Keep an eye on it and a thimbs up for having the insight to figure out a quick solution to save a motor. Hope this helps.
