Having problems with your 2003 Pontiac Aztek ?

While im driving down the road if i hold the gas pedal down to maintain speed after a small amount of time the rpms drop to a resting rate while still maintaining speed then my car begins to stutter I guess is the only way i could explain it it also does it slightly if im just simply idleing but mostly when im maintaining speed

Try a tune up first. new plugs and wires. then look at the rods, be sure all the supports are in place. some times bolts come loose, dropping the rods.
This sounds like you have one of a few things that could be wrong. Your compression could be off in your Engine, your fuel injectors could be slightly plugged or you fuel pump could be going out. Hope this helps!
