Having problems with your 2003 Pontiac Grand Am ?

OK.. I have a 03 Grand Am.. 103,000 miles.. I was leaking coolant months ago and had to get the manifold fixed.. well the low coolant stopped and all was well.. Until a few weeks ago the low coolant light came on after I started to drive it.. not even a 2mins after.. the light goes off.. I checked the coolant and it was fine.. and no sign of any leak like before.. I smelled the engine and you could smell a small faint scent of antifreeze.. then it went away.. There is a float assembly in the resevoir that will commonly stick. keep it clean and just double check ALL your fluidss as routine maintenance. if there are no leaks and the level has not changed, i would say this is most probable. cheers
Might need to have you coolant flushed, possible that there isnt enough coolant in the overflow container
