2004 Pontiac Montana Brake Lights, Pwr Window and Cruise all Quit

\015 Okay,So my power window, cruise control and brake lights all quit pretty much simultaneously or at least within a week of each other. The brake like in top middle is still working, the other lights work for taillights, back up lights and when I start the van they all work.I've replaced the circuit board and it didn't fix it. I've checked all the bulbs and fuses.\015 Posted / edited by AnonymousUser on : 15-07-2019

The same thing happened to my 2002 Montana minus the power window problem.
\015\012The brake lights and the cruise control are somehow tied in together.
\015\012I went to the scrapyard and ripped off a couple circuit boards from an old Lumina ($25 for the set) since there were no Montanas on site.
\015\012The problem seems to be when one brakelight goes the bulk of the current transfers to the other light and will blow it too.
\015\012Anyways you said you tried replacing the circuit boards and it did not work so sorry I could not be of more help.
The cruise control stopped working on my 2002 Montana. I googled this and several places kept indicating the brake lights. I thought they were OK also because the top bar came on when you step on the pedal. However, the side lights did not get brighter. Turns out I had both bulbs bad, they have two elements. Once that was fixed the left turn signal flashed very fast when tested and that was a bulb in the front that went bad. Before I was done one headlight went out from a bad bulb and I replaced that too. Finally got to test it out, and lo and behold, the cruise control now works.....
