Having problems with your 2003 Toyota Matrix ?

Radio troubleshooting, reset maybe?

\015 I was playing a cd the other day in my 2003 Matrix xr, I got out of the car to get the mail and when I came back (i didn't turn the car off) the factory radio was out. \302\240The read-out for the time still works and it will eject/accept cds, but nothing else works. \302\240I'm thinking that the anti-theft triggered for some reason and needs to be reset... unfortunately, as the second owner of this car, I do not have an owners manual. \302\240Have you had this issue come up before and how to I get back to rockin' in the Matrix?\015 Posted / edited by AnonymousUser on : 15-07-2019

Answers :

Toyotas have 2 power wires one for the stereo itself and another for the memory. They are connected with other accesories such as the dome lights , cigarette lighter, etc. using the same fuse circuits. check all the fuses to the accessories and the radio fuse.If all the fuses are good it is a programming problem.I don't know how to program it.
