Having problems with your 2003 Volkswagen New Beetle Convertible ?

Well, I hit a cement "rock" with rebar in it yesterday. I heard it and cringed. I drove on and about 2 miles later, my oil light flashed at me. I got to the Post Office and raised the hood. I guess turning off the engine released the vacuum, because all of my oil dumped out from under the car. Put it on jacks today and sure enough, there is now a hole in the oil pan. What do I do? Easy/inexpensive to fix? Thanks!

Answers :

I would be best to just change the oil and filter since all the oils drained out. Make sure you have the right gasket and you will have to use a tork wrench and tighten the bolts on the oil pan as the maufacturer recomends. Make sure you know the exact amount of tork you need so a leak doesn't develop.......I hope this is helpful : )
