Having problems with your 2004 BMW 5 Series ?

My 2004 BMW 525i won't start (no clicking, slight humm)

\015 My 2004 BMW 525i won't start. I hear a slight humm, but no clicking. All the head lights, dash lights, stereo, and indicators work fine. I connected battery cables to my 2008 Highlander and it still won't start. I drove over 350 miles yesterday (145 miles ea. way) with no issues.\015 Posted / edited by AnonymousUser on : 18-11-2019

Answers :

Sounds like battery or bad starter
Starter motor solenoid problem by the sounds of it, check the connections are clean and secure, give it a tap with a soft head mallet or hammer handle. If it doesn't spring back into life it will need replacing.
