Having problems with your 2004 Buick LeSabre ?

I had asked about the check oil light coming on and going off on my 2004 buick lesabre, the person mentioned a sensor in the oil pan. Can this be checked out by finding a dianostic code or does the oil pan need to be removed?

Answers :

I know nothing of a sensor in the oil pan. What you need to check is the oil pressure sending unit. The unit will look like this.\0122c49e3a.png
\012Check the connection at the sensor to make sure it is secure before replacing. If you find it is leaking it for sure needs replacing. The unit will be located in a location like this on which is a 1995 Buick. \0122a08cb5.png
