Answers :

Could it be a starter? does the engine turn?
Is it manual or automatic ? Really need to know because of trans interlock safety system and also the clutch has a sensor that tells the ECM if it is ok to start or not because of clutch being engaged
\012The interlock safety system wont let it start if it isnt in park or neutral on most vehicles.............
\012Be sure it is in park and put foot on brake while starting if it is an automatic......Be sure clutch is pressed to the floor and in neutral with emergency brake engaged if it is manual trans...
\012Do you have instrument lights when you turn the ignition on ? If not it could be a bad connection at battery /blown fuse or relay...It should have a start fuse and relay.......It is hard to diagnose without knowing what is actually happening....Is it turning over at all ?.....If you have dash lights when ignition is turned on...(Without turning lights on ) and gauges are responding ...All fuses and relays are good ...Then it could be normal starter solenoid failure.....Please reply if possible with more information...I am certified tech. and here to help..........................Metalpoet
