Having problems with your 2004 Chevrolet Cavalier ?

Would 205 75R14 fit my standard 4 door 2004 chevy cavalier or would they rub

Answers :

205/75 sounds pretty big for a cavalier , It would be about 26 inches in diameter.
\012If your stock tires are any more that 1 inch smaller , you might have a problem.
\012Many newer vehicles also have a very limited amount of room between the inside edge of the tire and the strut/spring assembly.
Your original size is 195 70R/14. The sport model has 205 55R/16. You are going 10mm wider or 5mm deeper to the inside, but the profile is higher by 5%. I would say they should fit fine.\012
\012BUT. I am not an expert in tires. You need to check this out with a Chevy dealer or reputable tire shop.\012
\012Using tires that are not the recommended size and/or rating can adversely affect vehicle handling, performance and safety. \012
