Having problems with your 2004 Chevrolet Silverado ?

Blower motor the blower motor does not work ive changed the blower fluz 2 times alreadt and ive looked around but im not sure where the motor is located at i think its mounded on the firewall with the brake cylinder mounted on toip of it so if you can give me any ide's it would help also the heater fuze is ok

\015\012If all blower speeds are not working I would check the blower, but if only one speed is not working I would check the resistor block for the blower it controls the speeds. they use 2 different blowers in this truck I have to sent a second message with the rest it will not hold it all inthis message.

  1. If equipped, remove the sound insulator panel. \015\012
  2. Remove the blower motor insulating cover screws. \015\012
  3. Disconnect the electrical connector from the blower motor. \015\012
  4. Remove the blower motor insulating cover. \015\012
  5. Pull the retaining tab down while turning the blower motor counterclockwise in order to disengage the blower motor from the heater/ventilation module. \015\012
  6. Remove the blower motor.

  1. Install the blower motor. \015\012
  2. Install the blower motor to the heater/ventilation module. Turn the blower assembly clockwise until the retaining tab locks into place. \015\012
  3. Install the blower motor insulating cover. \015\012
  4. Connect the electrical connector to the blower motor. \015\012
  5. Install the blower motor insulating cover screws. \015\012

    1. Tighten the screws to 14 inch lbs. (1.6 Nm).

  6. If equipped, install the sound insulator panel
