Having problems with your 2004 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 Crew Cab ?

A/C blowing hot air on driver's side

\015 I have a 2004 Chevy Silverado LS (1500). I just started having problems with the a/c. I have dual climate control. Regardless of what is set on the driver's side slider, it blows hot air. The passenger side seems to blow appropriately for what that side slider is set at. The drivers side also blows warm air even if the fan is turned off. I checked all the circuit breakers and everything was good. The first time this happened, I simply shut off the a/c and the fan and then turned it all back on and it seemed to reset itself.\015 Posted / edited by AnonymousUser on : 18-06-2018

Answers :

You have a faulty switch. Go to the salvage yard and buy a used one, pull off the trim panel and replace it. I just did one of these last week with the same symptoms.
