Having problems with your 2004 Dodge Intrepid ?

WATER IN OXYGEN SENSOR 04 INTREPID

\015 I have an 04 Intrepid and the codes threw for the Bank 1 sensor 1 and bank 2 sensor 1 and 2 on the oxygen sensors. We changed them all, however noticed water was in the bank 2 sensor 1 sensor. It is still throwing the code for bank 1 sensor 1 and we checked again and there in water in bank 2 sensor 1. What will cause water to be in that sensor?\015 Posted / edited by AnonymousUser on : 15-10-2018

Answers :

You need to do a compression test and a cooling system pressure test to make sure there is no leakage.
If this is ok then there is a possibility that it is not burning the fuel properly and that there is excess moisture exiting the combustion chamber.
