Having problems with your 2004 Dodge Ram 1500 ?

Can't remove the differential from my '02 ram 1500

\015 I've removed both rear axles and am attempting to pull out the differential, but it will only move about an inch. Then, it feels like something's binding.\015 Posted / edited by AnonymousUser on : 15-08-2022

Answers :

Has the drive shaft yoke been removed from the axle housing??? If not, remove the drive shaft. Once the drive shaft has been removed, Remove the nut that holds the drive shaft yoke and slid the yoke off the differential shaft. That will let you slid the differential from the axle housing once you unbolt the differential from the axle housing. Good luck and hope this helps.
