Having problems with your 2004 Ford F150 ?

I hae a 97 f-150 4x4 the starter wont work

\015 At least thats what i hope is the problem.it work find a week ago then nothing but a click when i turn the key. Its not the battery.I have all the tools.to fix or replace.just dont know how.\015 Posted / edited by AnonymousUser on : 27-06-2022

Have your battery load tested first. If the battery is good then check the current draw on the starter. If the starter is pulling over 400 amps it is cooked and needs to be replaced. You might also the starter bendix before replacing the whole starter.
