Having problems with your 2004 Ford Ranger ?

2004My 2004 Ranger V6 4l will not start, battery is good and fully charged, no power getting to the starter, solenoid doesn't even click. Power works with ignition on but nothing to the starter. Any ideas that I can check out? Thanks. Bill

Take your battery cables off one at a time and clean the inside til the metal is shiny, also do the post. Emery paper or fine sand paper will do it. Reclamp the terminals and try it again. Corrosion on these cables will not allow enough voltage through to operate the bendix and spin the starter, but there is enough voltage to light the dash but not enough to operate the starter.
There is a crank fuse and a starter relay.
