Having problems with your 2004 Honda Accord ?

When the car is turned off, the radio starts to go on and off. This winds up draining the battery. Has anyone heard of this problem or the fix? The dealer just looked puzzled and said the radio probably needs to be replaced.

Answers :

I would not replace the radio, the radio is getting voltage from some where's, I would start with having the ignition switch check out or maybe the harness to the radio could be making contact with a wire that always has voltage.
Does anything else go on? I would check the Ignition switch, but as elecrical problems are, it really needs to be checked while the problem is happening to diagnose it properly. I just would hate to guess and have you replace the radio just to have it happen again.
