Having problems with your 2004 Honda Civic ?

2004 Civic Hybrid. The dealership tested the small battery under the hood and the battery tested out "Good" (although the time before it tested out as "Replace Battery". Twice now (since the "good" rating) I have had to jump my car. I plan on testing the battery myself and if it does turn up to replace, I wanted to know if I could use an aftermarket (AC Delco or Motorcraft) battery. I thought I have heard somewhere that on the Hybrids because of the "big" battery, that I need to use the OE

Answers :

I know of no reason to not use a aftermarket battery....but, to be on the safe side, go to your local auto parts store and see if they have a listing for the battery on your car.

Good luck!
