Having problems with your 2004 Lexus RX 330 ?

My 2010 Lexus RX350 Navigation System is responding VERY SLOW!

\015 When driving freeway and when the navigation window begin to getting the information of next exits, every commend related to navigation system, such as mouse, radio ON/OFF, Fan ON/OFF and volume control, begin to slow down. They respond 15 to 20 seconds later. The "Calculating..." texts display on the right half of the navigation screen and never shows information. It is so slow in calculating and still trying to get the exit information while we already pass those exits. The texts "Calculating...." are just staying there forever. LEXUS technician at the dealership diagnosed the navigation system and said it is a system glitch but said there is nothing he can do about the problem. It is only 3 months old car. He doesn't have any idea whether the LEXUS knows this problem or any fix is coming soon. He said he is going to let the LEXUS know about this glitch. A big disappointment.\015 Posted / edited by AnonymousUser on : 21-01-2019

If Lexus can't fix this there is nothing anyone here can do for it. Anything that can be done needs the proper scanning and reprogramming equipment only Lexus has. Being that the car is new when enough people complain about this they will come up with a fix, Their may be a recall on it in the future. But for now your going to have to live with it or trade the car in. I know you did'nt want to hear this but but if some yahoo directs you wrong it will cost you hundreds just to get the programming back to the way it is today. Some navigation systems if you disconnect the battery you will have to go to the dealer to get them to reprogram it. Use lots of caution when guessing. New cars are not made for the average back yard mechanic to touch.
