The power steering on these vehicles is all electric, NOT belt driven. It is possible that the fuse could be faulty, but the more likely cause is a faulty power steering pump. If you have a lift rack the pump is fairly easy to change. There is a diagram of all the fuses you will have any questions about under that dash of your vehicle, either the left or right side. Left is on the kick panel, right is on the dashboard. Good luck.
These are power hungry cars. If the alternator stops working the battery drains quickly then the power steering stops working and all of your electronics go crazy. Check if the alternator is works by putting a multimeter on the battery should be above 12 when off and steady at 14 when running. If it's the alternator you won't be able to drive more than 20 miles. Less if it happens at night.
