Having problems with your 2004 Nissan Pathfinder ?

Transmission will not shift from second to third all other gears shift including reverse, there is no passing gear shift

Trans problem, internal. you would need to remove the trans pan and look inside of it to see if there is any debriss in it (chunks of metal etc) if you find any metal, you will need another trans and all tranny lines washed out and radiator cooler washed out also. good luck.
THE PROBLEM WAS SOLVED AFTER I DETERMINED IT WAS A STUCK VA,VE IN THE VALVE BODY. I TAPPED THE TRANSMISSIN WITH A HAMMER ALL AROUND AND DROVE THE CAR EXCESSIVELY HARD TO MAKE ABRUT HARD SHIFT CHANGES, THE VALVE BECOME UNSTUCT, AND TRANSMISSION SHIFTED LIKE ALWAYS I THEN HAD THE TRANSMISSIN SERVICED WITH NEW FILTER AND TRANSMISSION FLUID. ( END OF PROBLEM )
